Sorry, Radar Online isn't the most reliable source.

That's ok, I still believe the story since ratings are expectedly tanking and those 2 big stars are raking in more money than ABC is making off the show. They have to stop the bleeding somehow.

IF this does return for another season (which is highly unlikely), I expect Metcalf and Goodman to be gone. They won't stick around for peanuts.

Heck, they can just call it "The Darlene Show" which is probably what that backstabbing viper Sarah Gilbert was shooting for all along.

"The Conners" is ABC's highest rated comedy, even with the drop. It's not going anywhere. It's an easy gig for Goodman and Metcalf. 13 episodes, nice paycheck, time to do other projects.

I don't like it without Roseanne either, but facts are facts. It is doing fine in the ratings.

Not really. It's only a matter of time at this point. The pay cut to Goodman & Metcalf is to temporarily stop the bleeding.

Don't try to reason with Trump supporters. They're the party of alternative facts. Even if evidence is presented in front of them that shows something is true, such as The Conners being the #1 sitcom on ABC, they'll find a way via a fake news outlet or an unreliable source to disprove it.

Liberals live in their own version of reality where they skew facts to adhere to their distorted views. Like focusing on The Connors being the "#1 sitcom on ABC" when that amounts to a hill of beans since ratings are a dismal and pathetic 1.5.
When a 1.5 rating is a reason to celebrate as being it's #1 show, the network is in serious trouble. But at least ABC can admit their show is sinking by giving pay cuts to the main stars. Even if others continue to remain ignorant with their delusional...ahem..."Impressions".

Well, good riddance to "The Conners" then.

Nothing skewed or delusional about it being #1, that part is true, although when compared to the big picture of other network’s shows numbers, The Conners ratings are lackluster. You pointed that out, and you’re right (guess what? turns out a broken clock is right twice a day ). My whole point was because it is their #1 show, they’re not going to get rid of it, unless their is some kind of fallout again, which is unlikely although the ushering in a new ABC president might change that, but I doubt it. ABC is desperate right now and they’re going to milk this show for all it is worth. My other point is, this whole article is based on speculation. For example, saying that a “source” said it rather than an actual executive or someone who is connected with the show, totally strips this article of any credibility, but leave it to a Trump supporter to hang on to every word of it because it adheres to their viewpoint that the show needs to fail, even though it’s completely devoid of any confirmation that they did receive pay cuts.

"but leave it to a Trump supporter to hang on to every word of it because it adheres to their viewpoint that the show needs to fail"

The hallmark signature of dim-witted trumpers is:

1. Any whisper of something negative about a Democrat is embraced as truth, and spread to the public as though their life depends on it. Including a dark-web story that Hillary Clinton and Huma Aberdeen murdered and skinned a young girl. That Obama took his oath of office on the Koran. That he was born in Kenya. That he wiretapped trump tower. All easily disproven....but the documentation is declared "manufactured".

2. But those tapes, photos, and direct quotes of trump himself lying, undoing EPA regulations that were put in place to keep our air and water cleaner, putting children in cages, and embracing Putin and NK while insulting our own U.S. intelligence agencies? Lies, lies, and more lies!

It's the evil Dems manufacturing "fake news"!!!!

The ousting of that racist Channing Dungey from her position as ABC president only reinforces what most of us know---and now ABC knows. That firing Roseanne killed their biggest moneymaker in years and was a very bad decision. I won't be surprised if Roseanne starts getting offers to return, but if that happens, you can bet she will refuse, no matter how sweet the offer.

She'll never go back to those backstabbing nest of vipers that were her castmates, and all who would be absolutely nothing without her. As Roseanne stated in a recent interview, they all lost a good friend.

As for me being a proud "Trumper" as bandonurse and Impressions have intentionally turned the conversation towards, leave it to you dimwitted, angry dems to take a sitcom topic and turn it into a Trump supporter bashing thread. You people have severe cases of TDS where Trump seems to live in your mind 24/7. You can't even discuss a sitcom without directing the subject to politics and our wonderful and very popular President. Seriously get help for it. Your TDS is rotting your brains!

Keep in mind that you trolls on the left are the ones who crapped this thread. Also, note that you're the ones throwing around all the nasty names and insults, which are EXPLICITLY against board rules.
