Is there a performer who you want to like, but their manner just turns you off?

Two performers who come to my mind are Kathy Griffin and John Lennon.

I want to like KG, but I don't like her shtick and JL could act what I would call "unusual", at times.

Who is on your list?

fred armisen i try so hard to like him but something about him has always bugged me

James Corden. He can be likable at times, and then he goes and does or says something very juvenile.

It's like he's an 8 year old boy in an adult man's body.

Agree. I can’t stand him. He can’t sing or dance either. I have no idea how he got that show in the first place.

Like one comic said (forgot who it was) late night TV execs don’t want a female late night host so bad, they had to go across the pond to find a male comic who isn’t funny at all.

Well I disagree he can't sing or dance, I think he does both well actually. It's just that I think his sense of humor can be offensive.
