Rifleman's theme??? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I'm familiar with the Rifleman's intro where it shows him walking while rapidly firing his rifle and then looking to the right into the camera as he reloads. But I seem to recall an intro where he slowly approached the camera while there was some build-up music. When he got close, he got down on one knee and started firing. I don't recall seeing that intro, however, for years. Does it exist or am I dreaming?

I dont recall ever seeing that intro, but it probably happened.

It's a cool opening. It'd be nice if MeTV would actually play it in syndication.
