Got this idea from the Dallas board here...

1981 - Alexis enters the courtroom.
1981-1982 - Little Blake disappears. Cecil's heart attack. Blake's accident.
1982-1983 - Alexis and Krystle in the burning cabin.
1983-1984 - Fallon drives off into the night; Alexis arrested.
1984-1985 - The Moldavian Massacre at Amanda & Michael's wedding.
1985-1986 - La Mirage burns; Alexis takes control of the Carrington mansion; Sammy Jo and Amanda's pool catfight.
1986-1987 - Matthew holds the Carringtons hostage with his South American thugs.
1987-1988 - Sean and Dex fight over a gun; Krystle is missing.
1988-1989 - Alexis and Dex fall through the railing of the second story of the Carlton; Blake is shot; Fallon and Krystina are trapped in an abandoned mine.

I would watch that show faithfully. As I remember the last year or two cliffhangers weren't much. I tended to like all the early years.

I enjoyed the Moldavian Massacre but even as young as I was back then I knew no major characters were going to be killed. As I recall they all were relatively unscathed given the potential mass carnage of the cliffhanger episode.
