Benson- Antenna TV Vs. OWN

When Benson started airing in marathons on OWN, I was really excited mainly because OWN is a network that offers their content in HD, and I was really curious to see how Benson would look in HD (especially considering the fact that the show was taped). It looked fantastic, although the primary drawback for me was that OWN formatted the show differently to where it would zoom in too much on the center, cutting off some of the very bottom and very top of the shot. It reminded me of when they misformatted the Back to the Future Trilogy many years ago when it first came out on DVD.


When Benson started airing on Antenna TV again, I was also excited, because it was another source to access the show. Unfortunately Antenna TV started up with doing what is called the "credit crunch" at the end of the show (much like it was when TVLAND aired it in 2006). The HD is not as strong as the OWN airings, but they do air the show in their correct format.

Anybody else notice this?
