This is a question for the seasoned veterans of the board—what are the most memorable board appearances by people (claiming to have been) on the show?
The ones that come to mind are: - The coworker from the Mary Morris segment (suspect in her murder) - Jonathan Bunting (formerly Bobby Baskin—it’s complicated) from the Baskins segment - Paul Pollis (suspect in his wife Charlotte’s disappearance) - Keith Warren’s sister/mother (African-American teenager died under mysterious circumtances) I’m sure there’s a lot more—help me out folks! |

I say “claiming to have been on UM” because I don’t know with certainty which were for real or not...but maybe someone else does.

Don Dixon may have made a very memorable post in the Eric Tamiyasu Thread. He posted under the handle "mssamspade." Post #116.

Not to get off topic, but I always wonder which perpetrators of crimes come on here...

Nice idea for a thread.
Hmm not sure I can think of them all at once.Sheila Kimmell and Penny Kerstetter has posted quite a bit...not profiled but interviewed on UM. Keith Warren's sister Poloma Gibson from that old missing children's segment sent me a pm but not sure if she posted or not. Charles Horvath's mother (I think) Linda Sohus' best friend who was interviewed on the segment Nanette Brana Either Charles or Christopher Smith (from the dad kidnaps them segment) Rohrey Wychgel I think (he sent me a pm so he was on here at least) If I think of more I'll post them. Did Larry Gibson post? |

Hmm not sure. I'm not really up on the segments they've taken out. I would think that Poloma Gibson, Nanette Brana, Charles & Christopher Smith and Rohrey Wychgel were probably removed because they weren't shown that much but I would have guessed they would have kept the others in.

The ones most memorable to me are Paul Pollis trying to disguise himself as a "friend" but then posting in the 1st person, and Don Dixon describing Taco Bell lunches.
I believe Pamela June Ray's daughter posted here. And I also seem to remember Frederick Young's mother (or relative) posting in the main thread about his case. |

Whatever the case, I advise anyone to read the "Nerdy possessive boyfriend" thread whenever they feel like they need a good laugh. Because none of us here have ever bought what this person was trying to sell us and there are pages where the thread goes completely off the rails. |

I remember Rohrey Wychgel posting here--I remember thinking he seemed super nice.
Doyle Wheeler has posted here. I also remember getting into a pretty tense discussion with someone who I suspect knew Sagon Penn or was involved in his defense. |

Jane Boroski - I sent her a pm and she was incredibly nice.
Cliff Davis - Brother of Morris Davis Melanie Hack - Younger sister of Cindy James. I went to her blog and invited her here. Really nice lady. She sent me a friend request on Facebook. Cousin of Nyleen Kay Marshall. She gave some interesting notes about what it was like being a kid when Nyleen disappeared. A poster claiming to be Nyleen's brother Nathan created an account just to ask the cousin to pm him but then he never posted again. The actress who played Rhonda Hinson. She gave some interesting notes about what it was like filming the UM segment, including a scene that was cut. She was a dead ringer for the real Rhonda Hinson so her avatar was her picture and Rhonda's next to each other. |
