Default Sitcom Family Feud # 9: Night Court vs. Home Improvement

This is for MrCleveland who has also been dealing with bad days.

It’s time for Sitcom Family Feud! And here’s your host... the ghost of Ray Combs!

Combs enters

Ray: Hello everyone and welcome to Sitcom Family Feud. We have our returning champions who happen to be from Night Court, let's welcome them back!

The Night Court cast enter

Ray Combs: Welcome back Harry!

Harry: Thank you Mr. Combs.

Ray Combs: And how is your magic career going?

Harry: Well, I'm currently taking a break right now so I can focus on my comedy.

Ray: Any performances coming up or anything like that?

Harry: I have one in a few days as a matter of fact.

Ray: I hope your show has a really big crowd.

Harry: Thanks Ray.

Ray: Now we move on to Dan Fielding.

Dan: I have since retired from acting and am now a musician.

Ray Combs: What do you play?

Dan: Accordion, clarinet, piano, and saxophone

Ray: Mind if I hear if you got something that is being worked on?

Dan: I haven't played since I was younger, so no.

Ray: That's too bad.

Ray: And how long have you been playing for?

Dan: Since being in the single digits of my childhood.

Ray: Was hoping you would at least play something for us.

Ray Combs: How are you Roz?

Roz: I'm doing just fine Ray.

Ray: Tell me, are you still doing acting at all?

Roz: No, I'm just a comedian now.

Ray: Acting must not be your thing, huh?

Roz: After the show ended, I just decided to move on with my life you know.

Ray: That's totally understandable.

Ray: And you collect art, am I right Bull?

Bull: Indeed I do!

Ray: And what kind of art do you collect?

Bull: I collect mostly old art, but some new paintings here and there.

Ray: Now tell me, have you ever done art yourself?

Bull: Oh no, I just collect it.

Ray: And how is the lovely Christine doing?

Christine: Just great Ray.

Ray: And I heard you play classical piano?

Christine: You heard right.

Ray: Now when did you start playing?

Christine: It was after Princess Diana died that I started picking it up again.

Ray: So you played piano when you were younger, but returned many years later?

Christine: That's correct.

Ray: Can you do a song for us?

Christine: I would love to.

Christine plays a piece by Mozart.

Ray: That is very wonderful and really appreciate that.

Christine: Thank you.

Ray: And what do you do for a career Mac?

Mac: Oh I'm retired, but I used to sing in a band many years ago.

Ray: And what was the name?

Mac: I don't remember, but it was a long time ago.

Ray: Were you the lead singer, or were you just a backing vocalist?

Mac: I was the lead singer and my friends were backup.

Ray: You know you can go back to singing when you want to, right?

Mac: I just don't want to sing right now.

It was just a regular family vs. a sitcom family.

Ray: Now onto my right is the cast of Home Improvement. Will they beat the cast of Night Court or will our champions take it home for the second time?

Ray walks over to Tim Taylor.

Ray: And you have an interesting nickname, don't you?

Tim: Yes. The Tool Man.

Ray: And what do you do with tools to be exact?

Tim: I host a show called Tool Time where me and my sidekick talk all about tools.

Ray: So if I gave you my wrench, would you be able to tell the audience all about it?

Tim: Why of course I would!

Ray: And you look very lovely this evening. Can you tell me your name?

Jill: Jillian, but please call me Jill.

Ray: And what do you do for work?

Jill: I'm a TV director, which means I direct television shows along with movies made for TV.

Ray: Are you ever going to make movies one of these days or just stick to TV?

Jill: In the fall, I'm doing my first movie directing job.

Ray: Do you know the name of the movie?

Jill: House Of Haunts, it's a horror movie.

Ray: I hope it is a success.

Jill: Thank you.

Ray: And who do we have here?

Wilson: Howdy ho! The name's Wilson.

Ray: And why are you behind a small mini picket fence?

Wilson: That's just how I want to be.

Ray: Have you always hidden behind that?

Wilson: Pretty much, yes. Growing up, I was always shy and would hide when people came over.

Ray: Don't be afraid to show your face.

Wilson: I think I'm too afraid to.

Ray: And are you the sidekick in question to Tim?

Al: Indeed I am!

Ray: So what do you with Tim?

Al: I talk while he demonstrates the tools since he's more of an expert on demonstrating. That's something I'm not good at to be honest, so Tim is better at this. Tim does talking as well.

Ray: So you're the cohost?

Al: Correct.

Ray: And you're very pretty.

Lisa: Why thank you!

Ray: What's your job on the show?

Lisa: I'm the Tool Time girl along with Heidi who is in the audience right now cheering me on.

Ray: And what exactly is a Tool Time girl?

Lisa: I don't do much except for introducing Tim and Al along with giving them the tools they need.

Ray: All you do is announcing and assisting the both of them? That's all?

Lisa: I wish there was more for me to do, but it's what I'm assigned to do.

Before I continue on, I'm sorry if I didn't include Heidi at all.

However, she is in the audience supporting Lisa.

The Warners from Bertstown is a family I made for a TV Series that I'd like to make soon called Everything Happens in Bertstown which is a dark comedy about James-Paul Warner who always gets short-ended and mostly loses.

And the intro...if I can...starts with Paul at a later time narrating and if Goodfellas doesn't use this as their TV theme...this would be the theme...

Back to the story.

Ray: And you're a filmmaker, correct?

Mark: Yes I am.

Ray: Do you do more besides making films? Like acting and stuff?

Mark: I direct music videos and own some vegan places, but not much acting.

Ray: Tell me about these things you own.

Mark: I'm vegan myself and own a health food store, a restaurant, so many other places I can’t think of right now.

Ray: Hope the places do well for you.

Mark: Thanks Ray.

Ray: And I see you're a director as well.

Randy: Indeed yes.

Ray: What do you direct exactly?

Randy: Oh just television, not movies.

Ray: Are you thinking of directing movies or no?

Randy: I'll leave that to my mom because she's more into that stuff unlike me.

Ray: And do you have another family member?

Randy: Yes, my older brother Brad, but he’s also in the audience and can’t play due to his band duties.

Ray: Maybe he can do the music for our show tonight, how about that?

Alternate version of introductions, but with Brad instead of Wilson

Ray Combs: I hear that you are in school. What do you do after that?

Brad: I play sports and am a musician.

Ray Combs: And what kind of sports do you play?

Brad: Basketball and soccer.

Ray: What's this I hear about you being in a band?

Brad: Oh, it's just for school. I'm hoping to be in the college band or marching band when I get into the university I am choosing to go to.
