Default What was the#1 song on your Graduation Day?

I graduated on June 5, 1968(the day that Bobby Kennedy was assassinated, he died 26 hours later). The number one song was" Mrs. Robinson"- Simon and Garfunkel. Can't believe how long ago that was!

This link calls for the song on your birthday . Just change it to your graduation day.https://www.birthdayjams.com/

"Mrs. Robinson"(from The Graduate") won a Grammy in 1969 for Record Of The Year.

Wow, I wasn't born until February of 1969. I hope I didn't make you feel old. LOL.

Thanks a lot! Everything makes me feel old now. Never thought it would happen but it has! My daughter was born in Sept. '69. I just try not to think about it!

^The first Friday in June 2000 was actually June 2nd, and Santana's "Maria Maria" happened to be the #1 song that day as well.

^^^ Thank you. The reason why I was curious is because I graduated right when "I Hope You Dance" was the current song from country singer Lee Ann Womack and of course that went onto become a big graduation time song.

God bless you and her always!!!
