I was looking at the complete series and noticed that it was released in 2008 by Sony, then it was rerelased in 2015 by Mill Creek. What is the difference? Since Sony's is ten dollars more and has 3 more discs.

Sony is the better buy. Trust me. The packaging may suck but the disc content is much better. It has commentaries from cast (everyone but Lovitz, and for obvious reasons, Hartman), crew and even the President of NBC, Warren Littlefield. It’s got an interview with the cast from 1995 as they basically describe what the show’s about. Plus there’s a featurette about the space episode, showing a portion of the table read and behind the scenes of shooting it. Also a couple other features. The Mill Creek edition, on the other hand, is a bare bones set that’s even missing an episode (Injury).

You're welcome. I'm glad you asked the question. I appreciate Mill Creek for having interest in NewsRadio but they botched the release and more people who want to check the show out because it's a cheap set will be missing an episode.

I decided I want the Sony set. It goes on my "want but never buy" list. I will get the "NewsRadio" complete series eventually, but I have other shows I want to buy first. I'm so sad I missed out on when Antenna aired the show, but I don't even think it was for that long anyway. I will get the show eventually.

If you are looking to buy Newsradio on DVD Best Buy sometimes will have all the seasons for $8,99 on special occasions such as Black Friday and it's a great buy. When I bought Newsradio I bought my copy from Best Buy but then I had gotten the Newsradio Fan Favorites DVD from Mill Creek for my birthday one year I found some of the same episodes were on the DVD set I had but I plan to give my Newsradio Fan Favorites DVD to my cousin because he loves sitcom DVDs a lot. Another place you might try is CVS Phamacy and they sometimes have Sony sitcom DVDs at a special price during Christmas and they might have Newsradio on DVD there
