He takes over for Cedric the Entertainer who is leaving after one season. Terry played the dad on Everybody Hates Chris and is currently on Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

Cedric the Entertainer was a dull host and I could do without him always dressed as a pimp. I like Terry Crews. I hope he can improve it.

How Who Wants To Be A Millionaire got Terry Crews to replace Cedric The Entertainer is something i'll never figure out and I couldn't figure out why Terry Crews was chosen in the first place to host Millionaire. I only saw the debut episode of Terry Crews's Who Wants To Be A Millionaire show and I thought he did alright but what I think happened is that Millionaire did the exact same thing that Family Feud did to Louie Anderson when Louie Anderson announced he was quitting Family Feud and Family Feud replaced him with Richard Karn. And if you recall the reason why Millionaire was getting low ratings in TV was because of Terry Crews hosting style. But I have felt that before Cedric replaced Meredith Veira Who Wants To Be A Millionaire should've selected Chris Harrison first because ever since he has become the new star of Millionaire he made Millionaire get huge ratings in TV. Why I think Terry Crews quit Millionaire was because he was focusing on the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine and also money issues. But I hope Chris Harrison decides not to quit Millionaire in the future because he has saved the show from being cancelled

I agree with Bestie. Terry Crews is funny, but you cannot believe him as an "answer" man. He does not look smart enough to host WWTBAM. He would do better on a game show like minute to win it.
