The next day we all go to Eastland for the reunion. I see people I haven't seen in years. I meet people that I never met before. Half the people there keep staring at me and Steph and the other half keep coming up to us telling us how great they think it is that we're together despite people's closed mindedness. Blair says "Jo this is Nancy, Molly, Cindy and Sue Ann." "I know I met them before." They all talk about they're lives, jobs, husbands and kids. "I hate this stuff." I tell Steph. "How do you think I feel? I don't even know these people." Steph says. I say "Well You wanted to come." Cindy asks "How long have you two been together?" I says "Five years." Cindy says "That's great." Steph says to Cindy "Wher's your girlfriend?" I wanted to bring her but I didn't know how people would handle it so I told her she couldn't come and she broke up with me." Cindy says. That sucks" I say. "I'm glad to know I'm not the only lesbian that went to Eastland. That makes me feel not so strange anymore." says Cindy. "I know how you feel" I say. "Not really" Cindy says. "My first year here Blair called me strange." Blair says "Haven't you gotten over that yet Cindy?' I never meant to hurt you. I said it cause I wasn't used to people being affectionate." "Blair you never realize what power words hold especially if someone lready feels like they're strange or different from everyone else." I say. "Cindy I'm sorry. I was a kid and I didn't know what you were going through." says Blair. Cindy says "Its okay Blair." Blair says "Did you and Jo know about each other when you were in school here?" I say "Yes we did and it helped alot to know we weren't alone even though we still felt like freaks." "Yeah I wish I'd met some of these other girls when I was going here it might of been easier." says Cindy

A gay Jo that doesn't have her chasing and pining over Blair Warner? I love this story already! Nice story and it's a nice change of pace than the ol usual and boring Jo/Blair femslash stories.
