Default Season 1 - "four girl" groupings

Check it out, Mr. Bradley with 4 Eastland girls! Since The Facts of Life eventually focused on an authority figure and only 4 girls, it would have been interesting if this had been a show, especially since this cast features 3 Lost Girls! lol..."Bradley's Brood"

The Bradley Brood was the working title for The Brady Bunch.

Apparently so.

I did a little research and it was Barry Williams who said this many years back.

Whether or not its true, I can't say. But when I saw your thread title, I thought of this straightaway.

Yeah, I did a Google search and found that showing up in several results; and when you search "Brady Bunch Bradley Brood", this thread is the 5th Google result!

Here's the story, of a man named Bradley
Who's headmaster to four very lovely girls
All of them had maroon clothes, as required,
The youngest one's a nerd!

Here's the story, of a school named Eastland,
Bradley's busy with four girls, none named Cohn,
There were four girls, living all together,
But Nancy's on the phone!

'Till the one day when our Bradley, this old fellow,
Told this group it was much more than a hunch,
That this school would somehow form a family
That's the way they all became the Bradley Bunch
The Bradley Bunch, the Bradley Bunch
That's the way they became the Bradley Bunch!

^hahaha, nice work

But regarding "the youngest one", don't we generally regard Natalie and Molly as both being at right about the same age? At least, in my re-worked complete series version she is.

(and come on, it's got your Julie P.! Wouldn't you watch this series?? lol)

Molly's two years younger ('68 vs '66 for Mindy), so they might be about the same age show-wise, but she is definitely the "youngest one".

You better believe I'd watch it! What made you think I wouldn't? I thought that goes without saying!

But swap out Mindy and replace with Felice... Mindy has her own show!

Ah, I see. Yeah, when I think about it, it weird me out that Nancy McKeon is 2 or 3 years younger than Lisa; I never get that impression! I guess her toughness really makes her seem a little older than she is, and then she seems to grow around Lisa's height or even taller, so it always seems to me that she and Blair are the same age.

Haha, nothing made me think otherwise, I just figured you'd have your own comments to chime in here, lol.

"ikr"? It'd be great if there were a shot somewhere in those 13 episodes where Mr. Bradley was seen with only all 4 Lost Girls!

The Lisa/Nancy age difference was surprising for me, too, as was Julie Anne's age.

Sorry, I thought my song lyrics were enough indication that I'm fully on board with a fantasy Mr. Bradley-and-Lost-Girls spin-off. I thought you knew me well enough to know that I would watch it in a box, with a fox, in a tree, near a bee, at a prom, with '80sSitcoms... I would watch it here or there. I would watch it anywhere!

You are talking with someone who has added the Lost Girls to opening credits. To someone who has edited nine videos together to give the Lost Girls credit for their work on FOL. Someone who has photoshopped the Lost Girls into scenes they were never in, to provide closure for fans.

You better believe I'd watch a spin-off featuring some/any of them!

There has to be a scene! And if not, we'll just photoshop it!

...But I'll be in and out this week and next, due to a crazy schedule.

Hahaha, yes indeed! I just get hyped up for conversation on things I love, lol.

Good. I still don't like season 1. It's my least favorite season, followed by 9.

My list, in order of best to worst, is likely 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 7, 9.

Very interesting, "Viewer" (I'm currently binging on the 1980s animated series Dungeons & Dragons, so I felt like speaking like Dungeon Master here with a bestowed title/nickname )...why do you prefer a Beverly Ann season over a Mrs. Garrett season?

(I absolutely love the 1980s D&D series! And nice "impression" of DM!)

Mrs. Garrett missed much of season seven. Season 8 had Mrs. Garrett's wedding AND the return of 3 of the 4 Lost Girls. It gets a slight edge in my book.
