In 1983 NBC launched Go a word game show hosted by former weatherman Kevin O'Connell. In Go two teams and celebrity captains tried to guess words in a Password like format. Go is a very underrated game show because it only lasted two seasons 1983/1984 and aired later in reruns on The Family Channel and also during GSN's early years. It's a shame that Go was cancelled because Kevin O'Connell didn't want to host it anymore but I do wish Go would be made in a new version in the future because the gameplay looks fun

Actually it ran for less than a whole season--October 3, 1983 to January 20, 1984. The theme music may have not been among the best but the game itself was entertaining. They seemed to make it easier than it looks--forming a question one word at a time.

Bob Stewart took the bonus round from Chain Reaction and it spawned Go. A number of stations didn't carry the show due to news and other syndicated shows.
