What happened to Lumpy? I'm surprised Fred didn't make Lumpy go on the picnic. "If Wally's going, you're going, you big boob!"

That was weird he wanted both the boys at the picnic, but no Lumpy.

Well there was really no room for Lumpy in the car, but I wonder why it wasn't explained where he was that day? Like visiting an Aunt out of town or something!

Yeah they could have at least mentioned why he didn’t attend the Friends Lake event. I think the fact there would be no room in the car was a factor. I like when Ward asks Beaver where are all the fish. Beaver says “I guess they’re still in the lake.”

Sometimes I think Beaver was ********. Why would he show Whitey the magazine photo of him and Violet.....I'm sure Violet was just as embarrassed and wouldn't bring it to school. Did he realize it was Wards office magazine and not for the general public?

Yeah, I never did understand that part!

Beaver spilled the beans on himself, it probably would never have been found out had he not showed Whitey!!

No one really found out about the picture. Ward threw it in the wastebasket and for a change Beaver did some snooping. He showed Whitey but he never told anyone. If he told Larry he would have told the whole school. Beaver just hated seeing a girl kissing him. Violet must have been an obedient child to do what Fred said. I would have said “No way!” She hated kissing him but actually liked him at the end. Beaver would never have kissed her.

Nowadays Ward could sue Fred for using his child’s likeness publicly without his permission.
