Neve Campbell Doesn't Want "Party of Five" Reboot
Neve Campbell Doesn't Want a "Party of Five" Reboot
by Shirley Li 3/3/16 Networks may be crazy for reboots and reunions, but Neve Campbell isn’t interested in seeing "Party of Five" return to the small screen. The actress, who first rose to fame as the sensitive Julia Salinger on the popular ’90s family drama, says a reboot with the rest of the original cast isn’t — and shouldn’t be — in the works. “I don’t think that would make any sense,” she tells EW, laughing. “We’re all way older! That was a long time ago. We’ve all moved on, we all adore each other, and we’re still friends, but no, I don’t think that would make sense to do a reboot.” That said, she isn’t opposed to seeing her other claim to fame return if it’s handled correctly. After starring in four Scream films, Campbell says that she would be open to considering another turn as scream queen Sidney Prescott, but the decision would be “a tough one” after the death of franchise director Wes Craven. “Wes was so responsible for the success of it and the brilliance of it, and he was a dear, dear friend and a mentor, and I just don’t know how I would feel at the moment if it came around again,” she explains. “It would have to be something really special and really different. They’d have to be really convincing about who they decided to bring on as director, and I’d still have to do a bit of soul-searching on that one.” But, Campbell adds, she’s not stopped as often these days for her roles in "Party of Five" and Scream anyway. Instead, fans have been approaching her about her smaller parts. “Just by doing shows that people are such fans of, like Manhattan and Mad Men, I’m starting to get recognition for guest spots,” she says. “It’s fun in that sense to know that even if you do something small, you can have that kind of impact.” http://www.ew.com/article/2016/03/03...-reboot-scream |

Recently Binged on Netflix and fell in love all over again. Granted yes the last two seasons are very sub par it did manage to end strong. I watched the ending and I was like that was touching I'd never want them to touch that.
Then for some reason it stayed with me and I ended up having a dream they did a reboot that was 2 seasons long for some reason. And at the end of the second season they killed Charlie because of his cancer. Kirsten and him had a late in life kid like his parents and the end scene was Owen and the kid. I woke up crying. It was so real. I was like damn now I want that to happen.

Neve Campbell approves of the Party of Five reboot, says she'd love to reprise her character
“I love the idea of the new reboot because it’s very timely,” Campbell told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live. “From what I understand (after talking with co-creator) Chris Keyser… they’re doing it with a Mexican family whose parents have been sent across the border, and they have to figure out how to stay together and be a family and raise each other. I think that’s really poignant and important, and I’m really impressed. So if they want me to come… and do a scene in it, I probably would.” |

Getting tired of all these reboots. Hollywood has nothing new that's any good these days.
