It was 2004? I thought it was earlier than that, but I digress. What a shame, what happened to him.

Does anybody else agree w/ the theory that the suspicious nature of Robert Pastorelli's death was/is part of the reasons (besides obviously, Murphy Brown indulging too much in then current pop culture/politics) why Murphy Browns hasn't been very visible in syndicated reruns/home video?

9. ENTERTAINMENT LAWYER 07/01 **#9** Reader Blind Item: Police are considering whether or not to reopen the investigation into the death of this actor a couple decades ago. At the time of his death, he was being investigated himself in his girlfriend’s suicide and whether or not it was actually a suicide. This actor was not a big star but had a recurring role in a popular sitcom and supporting roles in films. He also had a serious substance abuse problem. A jailhouse informant has given information that both the actor and his girlfriend might have been offed by organized crime due to both debts run up by the actor and the fear he may turn himself into the cops and give evidence in exchange for immunity as a way of escaping the debts. Robert Pastorelli ("Murphy Brown")/Charemon Jonovich |
