Hey all,
Do you think Kevin Poulsen ever watches his own episode? I mean, that's gotta be weird seeing yourself on Amazon Prime... |

Imagine he would be embarrassed about it now.

It wouldn't surprise me if he did. I know that shortly after Prime uploaded season 1, Stephen Geri changed his website to include a statement about how he was innocent in his wife's death. So either he saw it, or someone else did close to him and notified him about it.

I always wondered if being featured on a show about wanted criminals played a key role in inspiring Poulsen's decision to devote his energies to tracking down online sex offenders on Myspace.

I found a talk/lecture he gave at a university on the forbidden site (it was a suggested video) and he showed that mugshot with the bleached blond hair. It seemed like he had a sense of humor about his arrest, so I'd guess he'd be up for watching his own episode.

Well, seeing as he has been a white hat for 20 plus years now I think he would most likely be embarrassed by some of the stuff he was doing back then-hacking into his friends phone line & recording their families conversations, hacking computers, theft. Also that he was stupid enough to make mistakes like using his real name & not keeping up payments on his storage locker. He came across more like a peeping tom weirdo & annoying little scrote than some major hacker/terrorist.
