Hey guys.
On Amazon Prime, during the Season 1, Episode 13 episode, the Art Frankfort episode has a rare slip-up by Stack. Mrs. K, one of the victims, requests that her real name is not used, yet when he is discussing aliases at the end of the segment used by the con man, he mentions the possible use of "Andrew Kearn, a widower from West Palm Beach." Since she was a widow, isn't that a dead giveaway as to what her real last name was? Oops...did this happen other times as well? |

At the beginning of the Niqui McCown segment, Stack accidentally refers to her as 20 years old instead of 28. Of course, that caused a major double take once they revealed that she had a 9-year old daughter!

He was also in Caddyshack 2, which is obviously a grave misstep...

Everyone at UM dropped the ball on the Barbara Jean Horn case. If I am hearing correctly, the cop interviewed says January 12 in one part, then July 12 in another.

There was a Stack error in the Judith Hyams case, but it was likely more of a writing/dialogue error than a Stack error. Stack says (and I'm paraphrasing here) that Captain Scherer had never heard of the Hyams case. Scherer went to Nebraska for a speaking engagement which was uneventful. When he returned to Florida he got "a phone call from the past". Ummm, if Scherer had never heard of the case, how was this a phone call from "the past". I get what they were trying to do and establish, or add some drama, but the Hyams case certainly had nothing to do with Scherer's past.
Also, I could be wrong, but didn't UM show Judy's last names as Himes? If so, another error. |
