ok well my fav. episode is when the monkees try and save that princess from her i think it was her uncle or something like that anyway i forget what the name of that show was but anyway

and my fav. quote is no body ever lends money to a man with a sense of humor! i have no idea what that means but i think its funny anyway! so whats yours drop me a line!

My all time favorite episode has to be when Davy's father tells him he has to go back home to England. This is the episode where they play Shades of Gray.

Monkees Get Our More Dirt (Julie Newmar was a coup)
Monkee Mayor
Hillbilly Honeymoon (great lampooning of "The Beverly Hillbillies")
Mickey & The Outer Space Creatures (Pat Paulsen?!)
The Devil and Peter Tork
Monkees Mind Their Manor
The Monkees Blow Their Minds (anything with Zappa, man, anything with Zappa...)
Mijacogeo (it's so weird but also cool! No laugh track helps a lot, too.)

And the idea by the Monkees to turn the show more into a variety show offering, which some of latter season 2 felt like, would have been great.
