VIA VISION Quietly Releases the Complete Series - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

The other day I saw the complete series of this show listed on Amazon as I was scrolling through the site. My first response was to see if it was legit and I could find nothing. When my search came up empty, I decided to look at the seller's profile to see if they had any other listings. It turns out that they sell from Australian based DVD companies, which was the reason I could not find the set from any store here in the United States. I was relieved to find out that the set was legit and made to be viewed in region 1 DVD players.

Still puzzled that there was no promotion for this in the Australian market either.

Thanks for the notice. I just ordered it. I've always loved this show, even though it seems to get bashed by just about everyone I know who's seen it, lol.

More and more companies are "quietly releasing" shows... with The Joey Bishop Show, Women of the House, etc. on DVD... I wonder if there'll be any other surprise releases of obscure shows like those?

My set came today and I am looking forward to watching these episodes. It seemed like such a loss when Sony opted to stop releasing the series when there was only one left to go.

By the time Sony had released season 3, I had already made my own set of seasons 3 and 4 from syndicated recordings.
