I guess to add some new blood to the show. Common for later seasons of shows to bring on new characters. At least, they didn't add children--very typical jump the shark moment.

Lets hope they were able to get that scene right on the first time. I can only imagine them having to do multiple takes of that scene and Sherman's thoughts about being naked for the long period of time.

I usually HATE when shows add characters, especially children. However, for some reason, I liked Inga.

The 'Naked Sherman' episode is a second season episode entitled 'Wedding Bell Blues' where he had to defend the reverend in court with a couple who sued him for malpractice given they were given a divorce. The woman had a temper problem and was known to attack men and she ripped off the deacon's clothes after a cross-examination in a fit of rage.
