I saw a preview for it and thought it looked sacrilegious. However, I would view it so I could form my opinion. I am a Christian and would never adhere to what Mr Cleveland stated.

Obviously not one of you has seen the show yet. Yes, in the pilot, he did throw a rock at an adulterer, and it hit his forehead. And he only wears one type of cloth. In the 2nd episode he smashed his smartphone because it was a graven idol.
The guy is a practicing Catholic, and he has a priest and a rabbi as his, "God Squad". The plot is very dumbed down and the writing is sophomoric at times, but it has promise. |
