We need the Season 3 DVD

It's been a year and a half now since 8 Simple Rules - Season 2 was released on DVD by Lions Gate. I hope Lions Gate releases the Season 3 DVD sometime in 2011.

i hope it comes out too so i can get rid of my own recordings for a nice set of retails for season 3. i recorded the entire third season from HDTV to DVD with nice menus that is good enough for me til it gets a retail some day.

That is what is really bad about when they release a series on DVD if it doesn't sell and don't gain enough profit then they will not bring out the rest of the show. I guess 8 Simple Rules was one of the examples where they couldn't move it enough off of the self and so they discontinued it. However, what is not right is that those who are fans of the show are the ones who lose out especially if it is a series that isn't a show that is on TV anymore. Its not fair to them.

Yes I know that. I think they should start releasing TV shows by the complete series and not 1 or 2 seasons at a time. Of course it would seem like you are paying more money to buy a complete series rather than 1 or 2 seasons at a time, but in the long run, you would most likely be paying less money buying a complete series set.

8 Simple Rules - Season 2 should have sold excellent and made a lot of money. John Ritter was in the first 3 episodes of Season 2 so I know for a fact that fans of 8 Simple Rules would have definitely bought Season 2 knowing that John Ritter was in the first 3 episodes.

It's been 3 years now since Season 2 was released. I doubt Lions Gate has any plans to release Season 3. I really hope Shout! Factory will pick up the rights and release Season 3.
