Cool

Xena would whoop Wonder Woman's butt and then Gabrielle would tell the whole world the story of Xena's victory!

Crazy Xena would win...

Xena would win in a dust up with Wonder Woman. Now, I have yet to see Gal Godot's WW, so I am basing my bet on the Lynda Carter WW, since I have all three seasons on DVD.

Would WW's tiara match Xena's chakram? No, it was effective knocking one bad guy out, but Xena's chakram can take off sword blades, spear tips, and bad guy's heads.

Would WW's lasso of truth work on Ares? Probably not. Ares is so evil, that it could put off the lasso.

WW was gassed out during almost all of the WW season one episodes. The only Xena episodes I know of was where Xena was put down was s4's The Ides of March and a season 5 episode where Ares get Xena and Gabrielle in cold storage for 25 years.

Does it involve mud or Jell-O?

I like Xena way more than Wonder Woman, but I have to say, in a fight, Wonder Woman's super strength, super speed, and ability to fly would put her at a huge advantage, so I'm going to have to go with her.

In response to the poster who claims that Aries could escape from Diana's lasso, I don't think so at all. Using no less than the definitive reference book, the Wonder Woman Encyclopedia, I refer to the entry which clearly states that even Hercules could not escape from the lasso once it has ensnared. Remember, it's because the lasso it self is magical. When compared to Hercules, Xena is a marshmallow. Since Hercules cannot escape, we know the outcome for Xena.

Question Confusions among us

The poll and this thread reveal the counfusions among us! WHICH Wonder Woman? The one by Lynda Carter, during the 1970s, especially the first season, was close to the original Wonder Woman personna. That was during WWII, and Diana was more of an Amazon than a cheap super hero, can do anything because by definintion, that is what super heros do. That was a bugger done by DC comics c.1987, because they wanted more super heros in the barn. DC did not seem to like Amazons.

The 2017 movie was of a different character. Sad. And it had the set up for a great make. However, it was a WWI story, although I liked that they did Diana's back ground better than for Lynda Carter. Of course, the difference between television series and serious adventure movie - making explain a lot.

Still, with two fundamentally different Wonder woman, the question is moot. It has no honest answer, because Xena could whomp Lynda Carter's WW, but was a bug on a boot lace in the 2017 adaption.
