(in this episode,Jack & Larry set Zack up with Zoe from the first unaired pilot)
Jack:Zack you've got to give some of these girls we go out with a chance.

Larry:The girls we go out with will make you forget about your ex-girlfriends completely.

Zack:The girls I've gone out with were pure and never none anything with anyone but me.The girls you've gone out with may have slept with so many guys,they probably won't remember you by next week.

Janet:Zack you may have a good taste in women,but I think you should give this girl a chance.

Zack:What?

Jack:What?

Larry:What?

Terri:What?

Janet:I'm not saying you have to do anything with her that you don't want to,but you should at least have one date with her.

Zack:Alright.I'll give her a chance.

Larry:Good because her name is Zoe and she'll be here soon.

Zack:What?You told her I'd go out with her.without asking me.

Jack:Zack I knew you'd say yes because you're a nice guy and I heard it takes more time for guys to want to get lucky with her anyway.There's Chinese food & wine all set up for you two.

Zack: Whatever

(later)

(doorbell)

Furley:Hey Zack.How've you been?

Zack:Mr.Furley if you don't mind,tell what you're doing here quick because I have a blind date.

Furley:A blind date?So I guess she's bringing her seeing eye dog along with her?

Zack:Very funny Furley.I just hope it's better than the last time Jack & Larry set me up.Her name was Emmanuel.

Furley:What was wrong with her?

Zack:A Man You L had an Adam's apple.

Furley:I wonder why Jack wasn't interested.Seems like his type.

Zack:It's a long story.

(Zoe enters)

Zoe:Zack Tripper?

Zack:Yeah that's me.You must be Zoe.

Zack: (sees Furley checking her neck and rubbing her throat)Mr.Furley what are you doing to my date?

Furley:I was just doing you a favor to make sure it won't be like your last blind date.

Zack:Just let us be alone.

Furley:Fine.You're lucky you're giving me $250 a month to stay here or I would've thrown you out a long time ago(leaves slamming the door)

Zack:I'm sorry about that.But don't worry because Mr.Furley is all bark to make himself feel macho.

Zoe:It's ok.Dirty old men have always been good to me.

Zack: (to himself)This is gonna be a long night

Zack:So what so you think of the place?

Zoe:WALLPAPER?!I JUST LOVE WALLPAPER!It's like the walls a wearing clothes or something.

Zack:Umm yeah.Zoe how did you meet Jack & Larry?

Zoe:We all met at a party with they spending time with two of my friends they were interested in and when they met me we all did the same thing that night.

Zack:What was that?

Zoe:We threw up for 48 hours

Zack:Well that explains why Jack had our food delivered instead of making it himself.

Zoe:Are you sure you want dinner when you have me for dessert right now?

Zack:Zoe my kind of date is having dinner and getting to know each other before anything happens?

Zoe:Wait a minute.No pick up lines and we've been talking instead of you wanting me in the bedroom.There's a rumor about a gay guy living in this building.You must be him.

Zack:No.That's somebody else.

Zoe:Then why aren't you throwing yourself at me right now?Don't you like me?

Zack:I sort of was until you no longer wanted me to get to know you.

Zoe:Really?You mean we can have a date without ending ending up in bed?

Zack:Yes

Zoe:Well the truth is that this isn't me.

Zack:It's not?

Zoe:No.My friends tell me that all guys are only after one thing which causes us to make them act like their cheesy pick up lines actually work.

Zack

Zoe:What's so funny?

Zack:I'm laughing because I've misjudged you & all of the girls that Jack & Larry know.

Zoe: Plus I only listen to them because I've never had relationship with my family.

Zack:Why?

Zoe:Well my parents died when I was young and I had to live with my Aunt & Uncle until I couldn't take it anymore.

Zack:I'm sorry.What?

Zoe:My parents died when I was young and I had to live with my Aunt & Uncle until I couldn't take it anymore.They treated me like dirt and it caused me to run away which is where I met my friends who turned me into the person I became

Zack:Wow.Zoe you don't know how much we have in common since that's what happened to me

Zoe:Really?

Zack:Yeah.I have to say that this is gonna be the beginning of a beautiful relationship.

Janet:So Zack how was your date with Zoe?

Zack:It was great.I'm glad I was set up with her.

Jack:I told you if you gave her a chance you'd have fun.

Larry:You tricky little devil acting like you'd never want to get lucky with our type.

Zack:Nothing happened between us,but we did have a good time.I really do like her.She may have gotten on my nerves at first,but I realize she was really something which caused me to want to get to know her more.

Jack: Oh my God.Zack has a type.

Larry:Jack we better get going or we'll be late for our dates.

Jack:When we get back,I'll give you some tips that will help you with Zoe in the future(they leave).

Zack:

Terri:Zack why are you smiling?

Zack:Lets just say I know something that they don't know.

Janet:What?

Zack:Janet you were right for me to give Zoe a chance because I learned something about Jack & Larry's dates that they don't know.

Terri:What's that?

Zack:They keep thinking all of these girls who they get into bed with lines they use are working.The truth is that these type of girls don't fall for these lines.They just act like they do because they are told by their friends that men are only after one thing and to do it to keep them interested in them.

Janet:You're kidding.

Zack:And sometimes guys think they're getting the girl by looking good due to only saying "hello" or nothing at all is to keep them from having to spend time hearing cheesy lines.

Terri:Why didn't you tell Jack & Larry that?

Zack:It's because they introduced me to Zoe.Plus me dating Zoe is the perfect way to help all of the girls around here.All of those girls will see me with Zoe and find out I got to know her and realize that they don't have to put out to get a guy to like them.So I'm gonna let Jack,Larry,and all of the guys who are womanizers get all of the girls that they go after using any way to get them until they realize later on that their lines aren't gonna work anymore and that they're gonna end up needing to get to know the girl and become interested in what she likes before anything happens between them and the women
