Victor Garber to Exit "Legends of Tomorrow"

A member of the Waverider is saying farewell to "DC’s Legends of Tomorrow" this season. Victor Garber will exit the series later this season, EW has confirmed; a "Legends" rep declined to comment.

Garber first joined the Berlanti-verse of superhero shows on "The Flash" as Professor Martin Stein, half of the superhero team that makes up Firestorm — the other half was Ronnie Raymond, played by Robbie Amell. Garber moved over to the spin-off, but with a new partner in Franz Drameh’s Jax, who took up the Firestorm mantle following Ronnie’s death on "The Flash".





The season 3 premiere of "Legends" revealed that Stein’s daughter Lily was expecting a child. Even so, Stein decided to stay with the Legends, promising to return for the birth of his granddaughter.

In January, Garber will replace David Hyde Pierce as Horace Vandergelder in the Tony Award-winning production of Hello, Dolly! He’ll be joining Bernadette Peters, who is taking over the title role after Bette Middler departs.
