I found this on my FB's trending list, and it looked so much like George Papadopolis' name. I know it's not the exact same spelling, but it looks so close to the late Alex Karras' role as Webster's adoptive father. So I thought this was worth sharing. |

I knew a Papadopoulos family. It's a fairly common surname among Greek-Americans. A lot of the names end in "poulos," like ABC-TV's George Stephanopoulos. More I think than ones ending in "polis" (which means "city").
Others start with "papa," like Papamichael, Papadimitriou, Papathanasiou, and Papageorgiou. |
