Default Match Game: The Dream Panel

Who would be your best six panelists? In addition to Brett, Charles, and Richard, you must have:

1. One male
2. Two females, at most one can be a young looker.

I have:

Dick Martin, Brett, Charles
Barbara Rhoades, Richard, Kaye Ballard

Nipsy Russell was my last cut for the guy slot.
Gene's responses to Patti Deutsch's wacky answers is what made Match Game so great.

Scoey Mitchell was a bad player and an even worse comedian. I couldn't stand him on Match Game. Bill Daily was even worse than Scoey. Bill couldn't read or write. That's why all his answers were scribbled, because he didn't want people to realize he couldn't spell.

I liked Scoey's personality. He was grumpy and unfiltered like Brett and I think they played off each other really well. He brought a unique flavor to the show.

Match Game is one of the only game shows where actual gameplay is a secondary interest. At least for me the primary appeal is watching everyone interact and bounce jokes off each other. I think Scoey and Bill had wonderful chemistry with Gene and the panel.

I disagree with your first paragraph, but I respect your opinion obviously. Your second paragraph is basically spot on, especially considering the legendary 'lunch break', where most of the celeb panel would come back and play the game drunk and/or stoned.
