Default I had no idea The Flying Nun was such a cool sitcom

I got to watch The Flying Nun for the very first time on FETV this morning and I thought it was really cute and cool and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Sally Field in it and she simply brought a wonderful role to life as The Flying Nun and it's hard to believe that this show made Sally Field a huge superstar in movies and TV. I think the Flying Nun is awesome and it's a surprise that there are no sitcoms today that can ever be like The Flying Nun and they should make sitcoms like The Flying Nun that are fresh and really funny to watch

It's not a show I'd go out of my way to watch, but when I do I enjoy it.

I liked Gidget better.

Wink Stacking Sally Up

Flying Nun is enjoyable to me too, but I still much prefer Gidget. Gidget was a well written and most importantly funny show, which I can't say for F.Nun. However, Flying Nun is better than Sally's later Girl With Something Extra.

I prefer The Flying Nun to Gidget. But I enjoy Gidget too!! I vaguely remember the Girl with something extra!? I remember watching it first run, but it was so long ago and on such a short time! Was it ever on in reruns?? If so I never saw them! I'd like to see it again!!!

GetTV reran The Girl With Something Extra a few months back. I wasn't a fan.

It lasted a season. That's one good thing GetTV was doing was playing 1 season wonders, so it was neat getting to at least see it and others. Like the Jimmy Stewart Show, which I did like.

I like John, and I like Sally, I just didn't like them together. I did like their house though.
The last time I remember seeing him was when he hosted the New Hollywood Squares.

I recorded The Girl With Something Extra from GetTV but I'm missing one episode.

From what I understand, Sally Field and John Davidson didn't really like each other and that's partly why the series didn't have a 2nd season. I was surprised to learn this because they seemed to have decent chemistry together while performing on the show.

I like The Flying Nun but never cared for Gidget. I also hope that Flying Nun season 3 will one day be out on DVD.
