"Lethal Weapon" Adds Newcomer for Season 2 Recurring Role (Exclusive)

"Lethal Weapon" is adding a new member to the team. Australian actor Andrew Creer has landed a recurring role on the Fox drama's upcoming second season, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The newcomer will play Zach Bowman, a good-looking, eager detective on the robbery/homicide division who partners with Detective Bailey (Michelle Mitchenor). Zach is the type who continually steps into good fortune, and through a few lucky heroic moments on the job, has climbed the ranks quickly.

He becomes the poster child for the LAPD, literally, as they are in need of good press after the series of disasters that Riggs (Clayne Crawford) and Murtaugh (Damon Wayans) leave in their wake.




A graduate of the prestigious Australian Academy of Performing Arts, Creers has had roles on the Australian series "Tomorrow When the War Began" and "Barracuda", as well as in the upcoming films Rip Tide and Hurt.

"Lethal Weapon's" second season premieres Tuesday, Sept. 26, at 8pm on Fox.
