Looks like the 2015 version of The Odd Couple will not be getting its first full season after all. Its season 3 order is staying at only 13 episodes.

Premiere Date Announced for Superior Donuts
Superior Donuts will launch with a special preview on Thursday, February 2, at 8:30 pm, after a new episode of The Big Bang Theory. The following Monday, February 6, Superior Donuts will move into its regular slot: Mondays at 9:00 pm. 2 Broke Girls will be bumped to Mondays at 9:30 pm, succeeding the 2015 version of The Odd Couple, whose third season will have finished airing the previous Monday (January 30). The legal drama titled Doubt, starring Katherine Heigl, has been pulled from the schedule after two original airings. Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders will take its place starting March 8.

^^Also, according to that article, Undercover Boss is taking the Fridays-at-8pm timeslot and air four episodes there starting April 28. And BTW, the 29th cycle of The Amazing Race will now start on March 30.

Hawaii Five-0 and Blue Bloods both attracted demo ratings of less than 1.0 for their original telecasts on April 28 (H5-0 was at 0.90 and BB was at 0.80). Because of these series lows, could Hawaii Five-0 and Blue Bloods end their original runs after next season (2017-18)? There was a rumor going around last November of 2016 that Alex O'Loughlin (who portrays Steve McGarrett) was planning to leave H-50.

Hawaii 5-0 may end next season but Blue Bloods will still be around awhile. It does really well in syndication and CBS won't want to replace 2 hours at once on Fridays. Madam Secretary is doing worse on Sundays. It only got renewed for season 4 because of the syndication rule but I think it is done after the 2017-2018 season.

I'm not sure if Blue Bloods is going to surpass the eight-season run of Magnum P.I. (Tom selleck's previous CBS series), even though BB will already have more episodes than Magnum, P.I. during next season (its eighth). I already imagine the possibility of the 2016 version of MacGyver tanking in season two and ending up cancelled, combined with the idea of H5-0 and BB ending after their eighth seasons; this would mean CBS starting over on Friday nights for the 2018-19 season.
Also, would CBS want to cancel Blue Bloods abruptly if it tanks in the ratings as well? |

I don't know. The current MacGyver is doing pretty well in the ratings. As for Blue Bloods and Magnum, P.I., Magnum is way better but I don't honestly see how the two can be compared.

^^Even though their demo ratings are almost all the same, the viewership for the 2016 version of MacGyver is actually below those of Hawaii Five-0 and Blue Bloods. In fact, I believe MacGyver skews younger than the other two.
Their ratings averages for the 2016-17 TV season: MacGyver (2016): 1.08 in the 18-49 demo, 7.728 million viewers Hawaii Five-0: 1.15 in the 18-49 demo, 9.247 million viewers Blue Bloods: 1.14 in the 18-49 demo, 9.944 million viewers |
