Default Do you think that GSN will ever bring back The Chase to America again?

My mom and I were discussing The Chase while we were eating breakfast and Mom wondered if GSN would bring back The Chase to America soon in a new version. Because with the return of reruns of The Chase I can really hope GSN has plans to someday bring back The Chase to it's lineup? Mom also told me a story that the actual reason The Chase was not renewed for Season 5 and was chosen to be cancelled was because Mark Labbett was not very happy with his current salary on The Chase and he demanded a better salary from GSN but when that didn't happen GSN cancelled The Chase and decided to focus on other game shows like Idiotest and Winsanity. I really am still sad that GSN cancelled The Chase and GSN should bring out a new version of The Chase and perhaps add more Chasers and a new host in the future
Will GSN bring back The Chase to America due to the return of the reruns of the show now part of the GSN lineup?

I agree with you my friend. GSN really did a wrong move by cancelling The Chase and I hope that Mark Labbett really gets another chance to host another game show for GSN or any other network because The Chase was the show that really made him a huge star in America but I'm glad that GSN has the reruns of The Chase on TV again to tide The Chase fans like myself over until we see Mark Labbett host another game show really soon.
Thank you very much for your reply and hope to hear more from you about The Chase

Surprisingly during GSN's Christmas Eve Marathon The Chase reruns that were featured were the most watched part of the marathon and because of this I think that there will be hope that GSN will bring back The Chase with all new episodes in the near future. I do also hope that Mark Labbett will make a comeback to America with a new game show or possibly a talk show or maybe he will regain fame as an author of trivia books someday

Thank you for your reply Edward. I simply cannot understand why GSN did this to a hit game show that was getting good ratings because The Chase was such an intelligent and smart game show that really taught you things that you never were taught in school. Surprisingly during each rerun of The Chase GSN still promotes the app game of the show and The Chase is still considered a GSN favorite. I think GSN should at least try to revive The Chase and make it new and improved and that would gain a new fanbase to GSN indeed. If GSN can revive Chain Reaction and Lingo why not try to make a new version of The Chase in America

I'm betting Mark Labbett got tired of travelling back and forth from England to America to tape the American version, that would wear anybody out. And maybe Brooke Burns was tired of hosting the show too and wanted to move on to other things. Whatever happened I think The Chase in America is just done.

I don't think it really works without Bradley Walsh. He has a great relationship with the Chasers and works well with them. He even filmed a pilot for Fox back in 2012, but it wasn't picked up.

At times with Brooke it felt a bit awkward. Andrew O'Keefe isn't bad on the Australian version though.

I used to love The Chase when it first aired on GSN and from the very beginning I got hooked on it so much that I was so obsessed with The Chase that I have my room decorated with Mark Labbett posters and I even had a The Chase themed birthday party complete with a birthday cake with Mark Labbett's photo on it. And when The Chase got cancelled last year I got very upset because that was my favorite show and I cannot see why GSN decided to cancel The Chase because it was doing really well in ratings for GSN. I'm glad you like The Chase just as much as I do Beano because it's a really great game show. You also mentioned that a guy named Andrew O'Keefe hosts The Chase in Australia. How good of a job does he do as the host? Is he cool too?
Welcome Beano and I'm happy to find another The Chase fan on here because I just love The Chase a lot

Hi Bestie!! The Chase was the best original game show GSN ever did. Yes, they should bring it back, and pay Mark whatever he wants. It will make money and bring wiewers to the network.

^My favorite GSN original was "Lingo" with Chuck Woolery. However, the Bill Engvall version was absolutely horrible.

The Chase was originally gonna be on FOX in 2012 with Bradley Walsh as the host but FOX decided not to air it on TV? I find it hard to believe that FOX chose not to air The Chase in 2012 because with Bradley Walsh hosting the show The Chase would have been a fun fit for FOX. I must admit when GSN first showed advertisements for The Chase when it first came out in America I got so excited to see something new and fresh because the only show I watched on GSN was Catch 21 in the mornings and when the first episode aired I was impressed with The Chase and have been a fan since. Great research Beano you really are an expert when it comes to learning interesting facts about The Chase and I'm glad you're here to share your knowledge with all of us

You would think now that Bradley Walsh is now making his mark as a singer with a hit debut album GSN might someday choose him to host a revival of The Chase and I can tell you that if Bradley was to host a revival of The Chase in America for GSN I can bet it would gain huge ratings for GSN indeed

Hi Bestie! I think you are right about Bradley. He would make a great host for a new version of the Chase. Are you listening GSN??? I hope you are! Keep Chasing Your Dreams, Bestie!
