Martin being a father?

i dont know how this is gonna turn out, but they have been on it now for quite a few episodes

apparently it is well known that sandy (the girl that martin supposedly got pregnant) sleeps with every boy that she goes out with

yet there has not been one peep from anyone that this child might not be his ?

that would be the first thing that would pop into anyone's head who knew about sandy's lifestyle

the writers sure made some major flub-ups

early on, sandy is talking to martin and says (paraphrased) "you mentioned being embarrassed. that wasnt your first time, was it ? i couldnt tell"

martin did not really reply to the statement

now just recently, martin finds out from sandy's date that sandy just slept with him to make simon jealous. and then she says to martin (paraphrased) "you didnt have any better reason. you just wanted to get it over with"

writers do this on all shows. what i dont know is how often the actors tell them about it ? or do the actors even remember the history of their own characters ?

but the worst flub-up of all is when they have the character do something totally out of character.

and that was just recently. martin was supposed to be cooking for sandy so she would sleep with him again.

TOTALLY BOGUS AND OUT OF CHARACTER. the type of thing that occurs when the writers are running out of material - which i think they are, at this point, and have been for awhile - why they drug this simon and rose stuff out for so long !!
