As much as I like Family Affair, I'm really sad that they Decades is not going to do a Get Smart Binge! marathon for Don Adams's birthday the weekend near his birthday (April 13th). I honestly thought Decades would have a Get Smart marathon every year, especially since I've never seen one any other weekend.
I know they're playing the first two episodes on Don Adams's birthday. I do like "Mr. Big", but I don't really like "The Diplomat's Daughter" that much. It's interesting that the Main Four's birthdays are so close to each other. Edward Platt: February 14th; Barbara Feldon: March 12th; Robert Karvelas: April 3rd, and Don Adams: April 13th. This year my plan was to read fan fiction I wrote based on various TV shows that have a connection with Max and Larabee, and general Get Smart fan fiction by another author, from March 29 to April 13. The date of March 29th has to do with a fan fiction reading tradition I started in 2011 about how I noticed how a couple of characters actress Amy Sedaris has portrayed remind me of Larabee (Gail from the TV series Monk and Deb from the movie Elf) and how Karvelas and Sedaris were born almost exactly 40 years apart. |
