Default no longer sister Brenda just Brenda

What did you think of Thursday's episode. Having sister Brenda leave her nunhood. just to be Brenda the weather girl.

Yeah, that was interesting. I wonder why they dropped that idea.

They really haven't been giving the supporting characters much to do on this show. They've gotten so caught up with The Jake/Dylan thing, the rest of the cast has been ignored.

It doesn't bode well for a show when they change a character like that.

yeah I never figured out why they'd wanna get rid of Lucia....Sister Brenda is kinda annoying so I can probably guess why they won't have her as much.

I thought both Sister Brenda and Lucia were out. Or is it just Brenda won't be a nun any longer, but still be on the show? Lucia wasn't in the last episode before last week's pilot rerun, so I don't know what her status is.

i heard the two were just going to become recurring characters...but from what I've seen so far, seems like Lucia went poof but Brenda is there LESS.

Well tonight Brenda was a nun again proving that this episode was written/filmed before last week's episode (The one where Sister Brenda just became Brenda). This happens to several shows in their 1st season.Look at "Friends" for instance. In the episode where Joey and Monica pose as Boyfriend and Girlfriend during a double date with Joey's ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend Bob Monica mentions How Underdog got away which didn't happen until episode 11.

Yeah they're showing stuff out of sequence. They did a bit about dangerous Christmas toys.

Man are they lost...

The writers have created the love triangle on the show to distract viewers from Brenda and Lucia, who aren't on the show anymore. As I understand however, there are no new characters to be added THIS season. Good Morning Miami as I understand may be on a hiatus for a few weeks, as the new few Thursdays contain 40 minute shows, knocking out GMM. This is probably a good experiment to see if a longer W&G episode can fare better than GMM in it's timeslot. And it will...this might finally wake up NBC, to move to a better timeslot. It needs to be with a new show, most likely a working comedy like it is. I can see GMM getting better ratings in another timeslot. However, timeslot moving would be almost impossibly and risky for ratings when AUSA comes along. And as I understand with that, In-Laws will air one more episode this month, and go on hiatus all through February. At this time, it's fate will be met. With everything going on here, there cannot be any ratings improvements for the failing GMM. It's only carrying about 60% of Will & Grace's audience. It needs a makeover...I think that Jake should just get out of the entire situation so that there can be other plots other than his crush. And what about poor Suzanne Pleshette? Give her some more work! She's so talented! If I could make any suggestion, this should switch timeslots with In-Laws at 8:30, Tuesdays. GMM and JSM are almost exactly alike...both are workplace sitcoms dealing with the media and having diverse, silly characters. This would not only aid GMM, but help the entire Tuesday night line-up. It would also aid in In-Laws, which has more in common with the zany antics on W&G, than JSM.

Default Not even Brenda now!

Yep, no more Lucia or Brenda in the credits so I guess that's that!

I guess the writers had to forge a new relationship and put Gavin with Frank-just for something else to write if nothing else. I mean, how many scenes can you have with Jake & Penny/Dylan?
