Default DNA

DNA say The adult victim is NOT the biological mother of any of the three child victims but are related
The middle child is NOT biologically related to the other three victims

so the older jane doe was a aunt, sister or cousin of the two of the little girls

Potentially the age gap between the youngest and oldest is only 20 years so the three could be siblings with a fostered child or adopted one killed as well.

This article contains photos of composites that are slightly different than what's currently on the DOJ website I posted on the first page:

In the article above, they are now saying that the woman is either the aunt or mother of the 3 children and they do believe all four are related.

If the reconstructions are any indication, it seems obvious they are all related and look like mother and children. The woman has very distinctive teeth and the children's teeth all seem to be similar, considering their varying ages.

One thing I thought was interesting, the police think they died between 1977 and 1985. The oldest girl has double piercings in her ears, which was reported as "odd considering her age" (5-10 years old).

IMO, this is a good indication of when they were killed. Double ear piercings became very popular in the early 1980s and by 1984, I had 3 in each ear.

Does anyone remember if multiple piercings were popular before then? I was 10 years old in 1977 and had single piercings then. I didn't know anyone with more than one piercing at that time. That's one reason I think this family was killed probably between 1981 and 1985.
