The Winning Strategies Series: Slots with Video Poker (1996) on VHS

Actor James Coburn hosts this direct-to-VHS series that gives the viewers tips on how to strategically play at slot and video poker machines at casinos.

Some of the info. here is outdated since most slot and video poker machines are no longer coin operated. You get a receipt to cash in if you win as the machines no longer drop coins out.

Some of the helpful tips:

- Always press the 'SPIN' button as opposed to using the manual handle.

- Always play the Maximum amount of the machine.

- Avoid gimmicky or oversized machines since they cost more money to operate making the payout lower.

- Myths like "If the machine is hot, it has to lose" or "If the machine is cold, it has to win" aren't true.

- Only play machines at casinos since airports, bars, strip clubs... and other establishments as they do not have to follow the same rules as casinos; such as payout rate frequency.

- If you lose more than 10x in a row then stop at that machine.

LOL, that was mainly in Las Vegas since gambling machines are everywhere there, so they included that.

Yeah, the first time I went to Vegas I was amazed at all the places they had them.

The Autopsy of Jane Doe '16

(A father and son, both coroners, are pulled into a complex mystery while attempting to identify the body of a young woman, who was apparently harboring dark secrets.

The 4th Floor (1999) on DVD

A young woman inherits a rent-controlled apt. from her late aunt and, despite the wishes of her boyfriend, decides to move in to live on her own for the first time.

The complex is full of eccentric tenants and she learns of the tenant who lives on the 4th floor below her, an old woman who's a hermit. The mysterious tenant leaves her notes complaining of the noise she makes while moving in and things escalate to leaving rodents and maggots in her new apt.

The young woman isn't intimidated and goes for the ultimate showdown.
