When I asked Shout Factory about a Lou Grant DVD,they said "that was a great show",so nice its coming out on DVD,I think Phyllis the complete series DVD would sell well,I liked Phyllis but all the changes in season2 and the death of Judith Lowry,sealed the fate of the show.

Are you kidding me? It was one of the best themes ever, paying homage to the title character a la "Mame", then ending with that ironic final line and Cloris scowling into the camera!

I just Youtubed it to remind myself. It s not a classic ear worm jingle, but it does have that nice sardonic twist ending, which is pretty unique.

I'm not a fan of the Phyllis theme song, mostly because I'm not a fan of that genre of music. The ending to it was funny, though.
