It's all fine. It's hilarious how some people get worked up over something like this. The starter of this thread just likes to complain, cause drama, insult people and generally attack people no matter what. I don't get how he isn't banned yet.

Personally I used to like the George Lopez show! I watched it all the time first run! My Husband and Sons liked it too! I still probably would, but I haven't seen it in years!

BUT.........

I have to stay loyal to a man I really am a big fan of ,and that is Erik Estrada!!! George and Erik are arch enemies!! They hate each other! Well I should really say it is more George than Erik! It's a feud /misunderstanding from many years ago, that George childishly never got over!!!

So I am on Team Erik of course!!!

I have been outside of the United States for years, except for a few weeks last year (will come back in January hopefully).

Looked up TV Land for their schedule. Dunno if the schedule changes everyday but here it is.....

http://www.tvland.com/tv-schedule

Lots of what I call "block programming" where they will show episodes of one TV show for hours on end. From 8:30 am to 3 pm is The Golden Girls. Then from 4 pm to 8:30 pm is Reba, then several hours blocked for other shows like Andy Griffith, Bonanza, Gunsmoke and so on.

Are people complaining for the block programming? I can see that. Reba could get hit by a bus for all I care. I like The Golden Girls, but do I want to watch seven straight hours of it? But maybe I do like the show and want to spend a weekend watching seven straight hours.

When I was in America, there was a channel called "Esquire" (like the magazine) that block programmed the last season of Parks and Recreation. Another day it was Sanford and Son. Another cable channel showed three hours of Seinfeld in the late afternoon.

I am in favor of basically having one network showing one show. Law and Order, Gunsmoke, Seinfeld, Everybody Loves Raymond, whatever. If there is nothing else on, people will watch this as a default.

Lastly, there are lots of mediums to watch one's programming when one likes. Some call it ON DEMAND, but I dont like that, "demand" sounds like a demented person going.... "I WANT TO WATCH KING OF QUEENS DAMNIT NOW!"

GL are no longer airing TVLand anymore. It used to be on Sat blocks since two weeks ago, but it's pulled, so it leaves with Nick@Nite still airing GL. Yeah fans will complain GL airing too much on Nick@Nite

My dream channel would span the decades: From the fifties, I Love Lucy (of course) and Leave It To Beaver. Sixties: Bewitched Seventies: The Jefferson Nineties: Frasier 2000 on: Everybody Loves Raymond
