George Lopez coming to TVLand - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

It's interesting to note that for first time in TVLand history, George Lopez will be airing in TVLand on Sat Apr 23 4PM-11PM in a marathon. It's unknown what slot it would join the lineup regularly.

That show already aired briefly in CMT in summer 2015, and currently airing Nick at Nite nonstop since 2007.

Yeah. George Lopez show sucks bad. I wish I could get all copies of the show and burn them to ashes

With George Lopez one day launch marathon on Sat Apr 23, there's another in TVLand Sun May 1 8PM-11PM. The series will have regular lineup starting Mon May 2 10PM weekdays (maybe weekends?), except Wednesday because of new TVLand originals new episodes. With that, it's uncertain whether George Lopez would continue to stay in Nick at Nite in May with TVLand airing it.

I don't watch GL. I think the reason why it moved to TV Land was because of the Lopez show that airs on TV Land. If the Lopez show gets cancelled, then I would expect the show to leave TV Land as well.

But expect extra long marathons like what you see with Reba.

Yeah I haven't had chance to watch on TVLand though, due to busy time. Even if it's still airing Nick at Nite and would air in TVLand that wouldn't be surprising. I'm hoping for George Lopez on Nick at Nite to be off the lineup by this fall or next year..if TVLand did well with George Lopez on TVLand.

Maybe the reason Lopez got low ratings on TVLand is because maybe they weren't funny..? Or people are tired of seeing George Lopez so that's why..

When I watched it on TVLand, there are some differences than nick at nite version. The theme only used DVD version except they did play War Low Rider using first season cast. But Nick at Nite used only season 5 cast theme shorter version for all episodes. TVLand used HD and most episodes especially season 3 are sped up or jerky movements picture.

When CMT aired last year, it's similar to nick at nite but with longer commercial breaks and all ending tags are removed

Monday May 30 will have GL marathon 5PM-9:24PM, it may go off the clock.

And some changes starting Tues May 31, GL will no longer be at 10PM hour, ELR airs instead. GL will be moved to 8PM hour. It may go off the clock.

GL gets pulled off TVLand as of today, for weekend lineup. Since one or two weeks in August GL was no longer on weekdays, but moved to weekends. So since Nick@Nite renewed TVLand contract to air on Nick@Nite, TVLand pulls GL.

I hardly even bother with the reruns, N@N cycles through them like a wet dish rag that I got tired years ago.

Nick@Nite just now updated it, it's now shown in high definition, and remastered from TVLand airing
