Thumbs down The Last Episode

I think that they could have chose a better way to end Xena. We all love her and didn't want to see her life end in such a tragic way. Jeers to the writers of Xena I know that there was a better way to end the series.

And for that matter, why did they go to ALL that trouble of such a convoluted and cockamamie explanation of Eve's paternity? Let's see- spirit of sworn enemy, Callisto somehow impregnated Xena. blah, blah, blach, blech!
If they'd been smart, the producers could have simply said that Xena had a mad romp with Hercules between his closing and her opening credits! :

I know right! Xena should have been with Hercules that would have been more believeable. They always made a great couple. But I guess they had to try and be creative.

The series finale, in which Xena was decapitated, ruined it for me. You would
think that, with all the good deeds she had done, she would have deserved
retribution and certainly a more noble ending. (Of course -- since in science-fiction and fantasy, no one ever really dies -- that doesn't mean there
couldn't be a TV reunion movie down the pike. After all, Mr. Spock died and
then "got better," Superman died and then "got better," etc.)

"Got better" has been around. Capt. John Sheridan (B5) died at Z'ha'dum. Jumping spread eagle into the pit, trying to out-dive a White Star with a couple of big bombs ready to go fusion, left no mystery as to how that came about, but Lorien at the bottom, did well as an EMT.
