USA Renews "Mr. Robot" for 3rd Season
"Mr. Robot" Renewed for Season 3
by Tim Surette Aug 16, 2016 No, this isn't a figment of your imagination, it's the real deal. USA Network has ordered a third season of its hit drama "Mr. Robot", the network announced Tuesday. Season 3 will air next year. Though not a ratings hit for USA, "Mr. Robot" is a critics' favorite, has become a cult series for fans and is now one of award season's heavy hitters, with six Emmy nominations and two Golden Globe wins, including the Best Drama prize. "We couldn't be more proud of Mr. Robot, a series that has pushed boundaries, captured the cultural zeitgeist, and been honored as one of the best dramas on television," Chris McCumber, NBCUniversal Cable's entertainment president, said in a statement. "Midway through its second season, Mr. Robot continues to break new ground and open up new opportunities for the network. We can't wait to see where Sam Esmail and the entire brilliant Robot team take us next." http://www.tvguide.com/news/mr-robot-season-3-renewed/ |

I liked the first season, but this second season is just too weird. I stopped watching it after the episode where Elliot thought or dreamed he was in a sitcom with Alf. Did they get new writers or are the old writers perhaps stoned? I'm kind of surprised it's getting a third season.
