"Rizzoli & Isles" to End after Season 7

As many predicted when its upcoming summer run got shortened, "Rizzoli & Isles" will be off the case after Season 7.

TNT & TBS president Kevin Reilly officially confirmed the series’ fate on Thursday at the Television Critics Association winter press tour in Pasadena, saying, “This is the last year for Rizzoli & Isles. That’s just the way it went down.”

“Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander have had a really satisfying experience. I don’t know that they wouldn’t do anymore,” Reilly added, “but they felt very comfortable that it’s had a good run. Everyone said, 'Let’s go out and finish 13 great ones and call it a day.'”

This was a cool show, hate to see it end. Since it had good ratings, I'm surprised they would cancel it.

Rating were dropping in the 18-49 group and it was an expensive to produce an episode!

they'll probably replace it with another cheap to produce mindless reality show

Following the announcement that Rizzoli & Isles would end after season 7, the ratings and viewership for R&I's season 6 have slipped from an 0.7 18-49 demo rating and over 4 million viewers in the season's first half, to an 0.4 demo rating and 2.4 million viewers in the second half.

The plots for the remaining episodes are over the top too! The 7 season is a total looser if you want good cop show. But if you looking for garbage this is the show to watch! I am watch it for how bad it can get! I guess they lost their main writers and they have fill episodes but this is ridiculous!
