Hello!
My tv guide doesn't have any season/episode info for this series. In fact all I get on all of them is that it broadcast on 12/31/65 which isn't correct. I tried finding a way to contact gsn/zap2it/etc. and had 0 luck. I'd love to capture these and add them to my trade list but I don't really want to go through the hassle of spreading around unknown episodes of unknown years. So that being said does anyone have a somewhat decent site that has a good episode guide? I can tell you who was playing, who is the celebrities are, it was CBS, and host was Gene Rayburn, but nothing about the month or year. I tried looking at trading lists who had match game but none seem to have the handful of episodes I taped. I don't want to tape anymore if I can't get any half way solid date info. |

This site is a fascinating discovery I made a few weeks ago. All credit goes to the author, and it looks like he's done a great job compiling all the episodes.

It's a good site but I strongly disagree about the episode with the gay slur. The person on that site think it's no big deal that the slur was used on Match Game but I think it's a very big deal.

Try TV.com. Their Match Game episode guide is fairly detailed and it might have what you need.
Match Game 73-79 (CBS) The Match Game 1962-69 (CBS) For the second link, I saw that Match Game did indeed air on New Year's Eve 1965 which was on a Friday. The celebrity guests (only 2 per episode in the original version) were Henry Morgan and Rita Moreno. The following week---Jan 3-7, 1966 featured (Would you believe? ) Don Adams and Barbara Feldon of "Get Smart". Now those are episodes that I would love to watch online sometime!![]() Don Adams in the 70s version of Match Game. |
