You know I've never seen that show although it's been on reruns on some of my locals over the years. I think it's on Ant Tv. I'll have to catch it one weekend.

I think the last thing I saw David in was The Yellow Rose. That was a pretty good show with alot of big stars in it but it only lasted a year.

Yeah, I think Cybill Shepherd played his love interest on that program. I read somewhere that Robin Wright was in a few episodes of the show, and she called Cybill Shepherd a snob because she would have nothing to do with the peons (as Ms. Wright was at that time; she was pre-Princess Bride and even pre-Santa Barbara at that point). If I can find that interview, I'll post it sometime.

That'll be great Monika. I like Cybill Shepherd as an actress but her reputation is that she's a diva.

Not to mention it carried on over onto her next show, where Christine Baranski overshadowed Cybill and even won an Emmy. Back to The Yellow Rose, the complete series (22 episodes) will be released on DVD in just a few weeks - May 3rd. Here are some photos of David Soul with some of his castmates - among them Sam Elliott, Chuck Connors, Edward Albert and Noah Beery, Jr.

Thumbs up

I think it's great that Paul and David have remained friends after all these years:

You're fortunate that you don't have to hear me singing selected verses from the song -- it's one of my favorites to sing around the house.

I just have a correction on part of yr long Starsky and Hutch msg. You incorrectly referenced what was known to be one of the funniest lines in the series. When you mentioned Starsky speeding along in the Red Ford (Torino) and going the wrong way on a one way street - you quote Hutch as saying "Didn't you see the arrow?" and Starsky as replying "I didn't even see the sign!" That isn't correct or funny. What Starsky's line ACTUALLY was is this: "I didn't even see the Indians!". I wld not normally bother to correct something small like that but I just feel if you are going to represent a show as thoroughly as you did - you need to be accurate when you quote lines from a beloved iconic show :-) Otherwise good job!
