Chicago Med has been renewed for season 2, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit has been renewed for Season 18, to air during the 2016-17 season. In addition, Dick Wolf, the producer of the Law & Order and Chicago franchises, has singed a new deal extending his contract with NBCUniversal to 2020.

The Carmichael Show's two-episode season two premiere has been rescheduled to March 9, at the 10pm hour, following a special two-hour edition of The Voice entitled "The Best of The Blind Auditions".

This spring marks the 30th anniversary of the current version of NBC's famous peacock logo, which was first unveiled at the very end of the NBC 60th Anniversary Celebration special on May 12, 1986.
