Vincent is innocent
he's good friends with my mom and dad.
He still to this day writes my mom.
Vincent never intentionally hurt carrie. she was abusive to him and he was just trying to protect himself. blocking her and pushing her down ot get her off of him
The house that they were digging at was right down the street from me. I know he's innocent so to those who know nothing about him need to look at the whole thing.
It's bull crap I'm sick of everyone thinking hes guilty. They have no proof and if you dont have proof then why is he in jail? Because her friends and family listened to carries lieing bull!!!

Just remember that this is a message board and everyone is entitled to their opinion. Many of us think he is guilty based on the news programs we've seen and what we've read on the case. Thats our opinion and we're entitled to it just as you're entitled to think he's innocent.

Btw since this case was never featured on UM, I'm going to go ahead and move it to the Unexplained Deaths, Missing Persons sub-board which is titled "All Other Cases".

Just for the record Vincent Doan met Carrie while incarcerated for shooting his best friend in the face for having an affair with his girlfriend. It doesnt mean he is guilty of this murder but it does say a lot about his character or lack thereof.

The Media can make a person look guilty even if their innocent, every time they show his case on TV they change their story, especially the last documentary they had on court TV, how can anybody promote a show so full of lies? I live in Blanchester and a lot of People were appalled by the show, plus they never mentioned the T-SHIRT they found of Carrie's buried under a well known drug dealers Barn and that Carrie's mom identified to be Carrie's, they need to question this guy, I think he knows where Carrie is.

This is so untrue Vincent did not shoot his best friend point blank, it was an accident Vincent and Bobby fought over the gun and it went of accidentally, it was Bobby's gun, Vincent never even owned a gun, I've seen the court records so I know what I'm talking about, Vincent and Bobby are still Friends to this day.

Semi-off topic rant: There are very few people who actually understand what HEARSAY is. It really bothers me.

People who had seen Doan physically assault and abuse Carrie in the past? Observation. NOT HEARSAY.

People who witnessed them arguing on the last night of her life and Carrie was observed to be scared and shaking her head no? Observation. NOT HEARSAY.

The ex-wife of the roommate who testified that she saw Doan on the night of the murder and he was covered with blood? Observation. NOT HEARSAY.

The fact that she stated Doan took a shower, left the house with her husband, and when they got back they were both covered in blood? Observation. NOT HEARSAY.

If Doan had said, "Yep. I killed her and it was awesome." THAT would be hearsay, but admissible due to the fact that the Defendant made the statement.

Doan's cellmates saying, "His brother told me he did it." Okay, that's hearsay.

Hearsay= out of court STATEMENT offered for proof of the matter asserted. If people are going to throw around this term, I really wish they understood what it actually means. From my review of the case, which includes reading the court appeal documents, the jury came to the correct conclusion. Doan is a murderer.

No it wasn't, it was burglarized.

Robbery - taking something by use of force or threat of force, as in armed robbery.

Burglary - illegally entering any structure with the intent of stealing or committing another crime.

Larceny - Stealing.
