Default For a robot VICKI was pretty stupid

How could Ted create a robot who takes orders from anyone? Every time someone tells he to do something she did it even if it meant causing trouble for someone else.

I was watching an episode where Ted was entered as dead in a computer due to dumb old VICKI. Why did he not program her with common sense? He was clearly joking when he mentioned him as being dead.

VICKI has caused several issues which make Ted appear to as an incompetent. How can he create such a flawed robot?

The acting was so bad that the girl playing VICKI was not even believable as a robot most of the time.

This show was supposed to be really campy! Most of the reason the show was funny was because it was so corny and bad acting!

Cool

You can't program a computer with "common sense"!! You can only program a computer with information. And than it will act based on the information stored in it's memory bank. Computers have no ability to reason or use common sense. Ss Ted often told Joan "You keep forgetting that Vici is a robot not a real litlle girl"!

Tiffany Brissette went on to become a nurse. Good for her.

Okay. That does seem like a valid point, there. I have enjoyed watching this show on weekends. I watched it in first run back in the 80's and then recently on You Tube and then on Antenna. I love how Antenna brings in the good shows.

I thought that Tiffany's acting was excellent for her age. Even the so-called "great" actors of our time would have trouble playing a convincing robot...!

A computer is only as smart as the person who programs it.

Well Vin Diesel seems to have found his niche at acting robotic in his movies.

He's one of those guys who is so good looking that it doesn't matter too much how dumb his character may be.

It would be quite funny to see Vin Diesel in a pinafore... and yet somehow also very fitting...
