Seems like anytime I lurk through friends Facebook pages, and message boards, people are always negative about the American Dad episodes on TBS. Some believe the show isn't the same as it used to be, some wish it would get cancelled, and some just plain gave up on the show. And complain about how 'bad' it's become.
Why does this always happen when a tv show moves to another network? I really like the new American Dad episodes. Think it's cool how we are seeing more edgier things on the show. We are lucky American Dad is still on and got renewed for another 2 years, and this is how fans repay them? Same thing happened with Futurama when it came back to Comedy Central. Fans bashed those episodes, took them to the bank with them like there was no tommorow. Now it seems the same is happening to American Dad. I don't see any changes on American Dad for the worst. If anything, it changed for the better. Some think that the writers are making the show on purpose so people won't watch want to watch it anymore. Some are mad that didn't stay on FOX, and that network cancelled it to 'let it die' on TBS. |
