MacGyver Film in the Works at Lionsgate
by Anita Busch February 5, 2015 It’s jumped around town for years in many incarnations at various studios, but Lionsgate just announced that it will produce a film version of MacGyver with Fast and Furious‘ producer Neal Moritz working with the original "MacGyver" creator Lee David Zlotoff on the project. The news comes after CBS gave a pilot order earlier this week to a re-imagining of the series from Furious 7 director James Wan and CBS TV Studios, with Paul Downs Colaizzo scripting. The film project was announced as part of Lionsgate’s analyst call early this morning where it talked about looking at properties both in terms of doing TV and film projects at once. http://deadline.com/2016/02/macgyver...te-1201697026/ |
